When should VK Pro Calcium be administered?

As a preventive measure, one bolus should be administered 12 hours before calving and one bolus 12 hours after calving. When symptoms of milk fever appear, 2 boluses should be given immediately, followed by 1 more bolus 12 hours later.

Should I administer it to all cows?

Prophylactic administration is especially recommended for high-yielding cows, cows with their 3rd or higher calving, and cows with a history of milk fever.

Can it be used together with intravenous calcium?

Yes, in severe cases, oral bolus administration can be continued after intravenous calcium treatment. Use under veterinary supervision.
